Providers simply log into platform and then connect to Escript’s available queue of virtual medical scribes. (VMS) during a patient encounter. What happens next is simple:
The VMS logs into the providers EMR and follows instructions while the provider continues with the patient visit or exam.
The provider can order diagnostic tests, blood work, prescriptions, or other time sensitive tasks.
The provider can mute the conversation to discuss sensitive information with the patient and can watch the VMS work within the EMR at any time.
All other interaction is also recorded, and the provider can continue the recording when the patient leaves, if desired

Digital voice-recording device/products/Smartphones are designed to record sound and voice in digital format. Files may be recorded in formats such as WAV, MP3 WMA, DSS and DS2. Escript provides customers with a secure method of submitting dictations for transcription. Data is transferred using a secure HTTPS connection with RSA 2048 bit encryption.

Once a digital dictation is uploaded, it is transferred to the transcription team via our secure platform in no time. Dedicated specialty trained transcriptionists are assigned to relevant department/specialty. The transcripts go through a second level of quality check to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. This can further be improved with a third level quality check by our most experienced QA. Letters can further be forced to fourth & final level to a medical secretary or UK QA.
